This one day course is led by experienced teachers that will equip you with essential skills and confidence to handle a range of outdoor emergencies, ensuring prompt, safe, and effective responses even in remote settings where professional help may not be available.

The qualification meets the requirements of the Institute for Outdoor Learning band 2 training.

The assessment is carried out through practical demonstration and oral questioning.

1 Day Course

8 hours must be delivered over a minimum of 1 day. 

Need to be completed within 4 weeks. Training sessions must last a minimum of two hours each.
